A little about me... My name is Ellen Davis. I have a Master's degree in Applied Clinical Nutrition and I built this website to share what I've learned about health and nutrition with those looking for information on this important topic. When I'm not writing, I spend my time cooking and coming up with new recipes, researching health and nutrition topics, and having fun with my family. (I built this site with Site Build It, learn more here.)
The information on this site has been gathered over the years on my own health journey. Although I have a Masters in Nutrition, I am not trained in medicine, and the information on this site should not be taken as medical advice.
The main message here is that food is a powerful medicinal tool, and changing detrimental eating habits can make a big difference in how you feel on a daily basis. Look at the information here and use it to design a custom plan for your body and lifestyle.
This website is not intended to replace the advice of your physician. You are responsible for your personal health care, and your physician should support you in that care.
The alternative information on this site should help you make decisions about your own health care. My hope is that the people reading this website will use this information to feel better, live longer and be as disease free as possible. I also hope the information here will help you in judging the efficacy of the health advice you get from the media.
Please also visit my website which provides information about the health benefits of switching to a high fat, moderate protein, low carb way of eating. It's called the Ketogenic Diet Resource.
